Merewether Baths
Merewether is a quiet suburb of Newcastle known for its 100 metres by 90 metres communal yet well-maintained swimming pool. Nothing fancy here – everything from numbered dive spots, the length, and the depth water has been designed for a reasonable function. Kids have their own area – in the shallow waters- while adults get to enjoy a large portion of the public bathing area. If you are not in the mood for an Olympic level of swim, you can take repetitive steps at stairs to meet your fitness goals.
